The Big Shelf
This week, my salad spinner is taking up a lot of room on “the big shelf.” Sometimes this shelf holds leftovers or catering items, other times it hold wine bottles when we’re expecting friends for dinner. This week, I washed some baby romaine for a salad but had leftover leaves, which I left in the salad spinner and stuck it back in the fridge. Storing greens in the salad spinner is a great way to remind yourself that you’ve got freshly washed greens ready for use (and allows you to put off washing the salad spinner!).
