Summer Water With Lemons & Lemon Basil

If you’re feeling extra fancy, you can use a special pitcher and glass for your summer water. Here I used lemon slices and lemon basil, which coincidentally smells like a combination of lemon and basil…it’s very fragrant!

I love this pitcher and glass combination. Together, they make my summer water feel that much more special. This pitcher spent years entertaining with a hostess in New Orleans; it survived Hurricane Katrina and I bought it at an estate sale on a warm, rainy Saturday last June. The pitcher road-tripped its way California before finding a permanent home at the bungalow. The glass is vintage, part of a set discovered on Ebay and received as a gift from special friends…my favorite glasses.
