cherries & cream
With a bowl of pitted cherries on hand, I created this gorgeous, delicious, & healthy breakfast, which made Monday morning a lot easier to handle.
The “cream” here is actually is kefir, and I also swirled in some agave and chia seeds underneath the cherries for a little sweetness and extra nutrition. I love the tang of kefir; it’s a delicious way to get probiotics and protein at breakfast. My friend Amelia Winslow, who pens the blog “Eating Made Easy,” recently posted about the benefits of chia seeds, so I decided to try them out, and I have found a new seed to love!
