back in action…

You may have noticed that I haven’t been posting for the last few (3!) weeks.

At least I hope you noticed ~ and maybe even missed me while I was away…

I missed sharing stories about our life at the bungalow, the inner workings of the kitchen, adventures from the farmers market, and ideas for creating beautiful dinners for loved ones, among other things.

The truth is that I had no intention of taking a “vacation” from storytelling about the bungalow. However, I got distracted by summer and all the wonderful things that come with it: attending at family wedding outside of Kansas City, visiting my oldest friend in Chicago right before she is about to become a mom, spending a weekend with my family in rural Illinois. My husband and I spent some time away with friends, relaxing on a beach.

It was a wonderful break.

I’m ready to get back into my routine, cooking in my kitchen, wandering the farmers market, hosting friends for dinner. I’m excited to share some of the inspiration I picked up while I was away, and continue telling stories about life at the bungalow in hopes that you too will be inspired in your own home.

So let the stories begin ~ ahem ~ resume!
