kari lauritzen is a chef & writer based in los angeles.
kari began THE YELLOW BUNGALOW LOS ANGELES as a space to explore the beauty and magic of home cooking. her years spent as a private chef created a mountain of recipes, ideas, and tips that she wanted to catalog and share with her clients, friends, and anyone else who sought to elevate the experience of home cooking.
the idea for the YELLOW BUNGALOW LOS ANGELES was inspired by kari’s real life home, a tiny bungalow which she shares with her husband, james weaver, and their dog, marco.
