quick lunch | the yellow bungalow

GREENS i can’t get over the color and texture of these greens that are growing in our garden. the irony is that i didn’t plant the seeds or seedlings; instead, these gorgeous “volunteers” are the magical result of the birds and wind. i think i planted something like this last year or the year before, but i honestly can’t say for sure. i gently pulled them out of the soil, gave them a proper bath in the kitchen sink, and will add these green lovelies to our meals this week. i may or may not share with my family…😜
